Early Norman Mace
This early medieval mace would be a perfect offensive weapon in Norman warfare. Though lightweight, it could easily break bones and cave in a leather Saxon helm. The solid cast steel head has multiple blunt spikes and rope decoration, while the darkened, wooden shaft has indents for a sure grip. A steel butt cap with lanyard ring allows for easily transport on foot or horse, or enables you to tie the weapon to your wrist in battle.
