An English Knight of King Arthur riding a horse standing on a wooden platform. The knight wears a parade suit of armour composed of a horse helmet, a cuirass with pauldrons and bracelets and greaves on the legs. The basin and hoses are covered with black coloured velvet breeches. The knight is armed with a round shield, a jousting lance with banner and a sword. The horse also is harnessed with metal parade armour enriched with relief sculpted figures and a black coloured velvet caparison.
