Rondel Dagger
This is a classic example of a rondel dagger. The hilt is a beautiful example of this type of dagger: it looks like the 14th century daggers with distinctive brass disks that functioned as hand guards and pommels. The steel blade is almost 7 mm thick, which makes it very thick for a dagger. The ricasso has one wide and two narrow fullers, and one of the narrow ones ends just before the point of the blade. This rondel dagger tapers to a spear-like form which makes the blade an ideal thrusting weapon for piercing chain mail, for example.
The rondel dagger comes with a red leather scabbard with a mount and chape.
